Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface Aided Cellular Networks With Device-to-Device Users

Reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) technology is promising to enhance wireless communications services by providing smart radio environment. In this paper, we investigate the RIS aided cellular networks with device-to-device (D2D) users, and maximize sum of transmission rate D2D from a new perspective. addition solving typical resource allocation problems for communications, paper further optimize environment adjusting position phase shift RIS. To solve non-convex problem, propose novel decentralized double deep Q-network (D 3 QN) framework at users centralized DDQN optimization base station (BS), which are verified achieve near-optimal performance lower complexity enhanced robustness. Simulation results illustrate that proposed can higher rates compared benchmarks, meanwhile meeting quality service (QoS) requirements BS users.
